Date: 08/11/2025On November 8, Sitges will once again become the poetic epicenter with a program of events starting at noon in Eduard Maristany Square with a grand welcome for the poets. The day will continue with the traditional parade featuring poetic balconies, including a performance by the theater company La Tija and special collaborations from actors such as Enric Majó, Rosa Andreu, Mercè Comes, and singer Marina Rossell.
After the “Seventy Stars” lunch in the Jardins d’El Retiro, the highlight of the day will arrive: the simultaneous recitals “Parallel Universes” at Mercat Vell and the Escorxador, featuring around thirty poets at each venue and a personalized concert by musicians Mazoni and Mone, dedicated to the poets of the Festival who are no longer with us. Entry to both venues is free, but capacity is limited. It is recommended to reserve a spot by emailing festapoesiasitges@gmail.com or sending a WhatsApp to 636 928 736, including your name, phone number, and chosen venue.
The day will conclude at Racó de la Calma with the reading of the Festival Manifesto to commemorate this anniversary, followed by a musical and visual farewell.
