About the artist:

Born in Caracas, Venezuela, Adam Hernández is an artist whose work vibrates with the intensity of color, the freedom of strokes, and the soul of lived experience. His training began between 1995 and 1997 at the Cristóbal Rojas Academy of Fine Arts in Caracas and continued in London, where he delved deeper into abstract and figurative painting with professors Joyner and George Harrinson. Since then, his artistic journey has been a constant exploration of the abstract, the urban, and the emotional.
Adam works with acrylics, watercolors, colored pencils, inks, and unconventional tools such as palette knives and worn brushes, which allow him a free, unconventional, and deeply personal expression. His style has been described as free and abstract, with echoes of contemporary street art. His works feature landscapes, animals, portraits, and nature, emerging from his own vibrant and evocative pictorial language.
Since 2007, he has held several exhibitions in Switzerland, Germany, and the United Kingdom, highlighting his five presentations at the Die Trotte cultural center in Arlesheim, in the Basel-Campiña region. His artistic vocation is also a family legacy: his grandfather Francisco was passionate about painting and poetry, and his uncle Sócrates, a landscape painter, was a key figure in his artistic awakening, sharing stories of Rembrandt and Van Gogh that shaped his sensitivity.
For Adam, art is a constant quest, an act of faith in creation:
“Perhaps writing your own story is the best legacy someone can leave. Giving something existence from nothing.”
Each work is an invitation to discover the transformative power of art, to find beauty in the unexpected, and to share the magic of creating from the heart.
