A walk through the history of Sitges, a route from the origins of Sitges to the present.
The proposed itinerary covers the widening of Sitges, the center and the historic center.
In the first part of the itinerary we will discover the origin of the modern Sitges, with its new widening, and the houses of the so-called Americans who embellished the villa at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century thanks to the fortune they had achieved in the West Indies.
In the second part of the itinerary we visit the oldest Sitges,
the main street, the Town Hall square, the church, the walls, the Bosch street, the San Sebastián beach ...
And in the third part of the route a walk through the history of Sitges we will discover the artists and collectors who made Sitges a meeting point for intellectuals, and who transformed the historic center into the most emblematic place of this town: the exteriors of the Maricel Palace , from the Maricel Museum, the Cau Ferrat Museum and its characters, Santiago Rusiñol, Miquel Utrillo and Charles Deering, among others.
