Date: 17/10/2026On 17 October, discover the ancient history of Sitges on a guided tour of Puig de Sitges and the old town. The tour offers an opportunity to explore the town’s archaeological heritage and learn more about what Puig de Sitges was like during the Iberian and Roman periods.
The tour will be led by archaeologist Joan García Targa, who will explain the main archaeological discoveries made in the old town over more than three decades of research. Along the route, participants will visit some of the sites where archaeological excavations have taken place, as well as see notable archaeological finds, including a section of the medieval town wall on Carrer Major and the archaeological remains displayed in the entrance hall of the Casa de la Vila.
The tour starts at 5 pm at Plaça de l’Ajuntament and lasts approximately two hours. The activity is free and open to everyone, with no advance registration required.
