Start: 12/11/2026Malvasia Week celebrates its twelfth edition from November 12 to 22, 2026.
For eleven years, this event has been a meeting point for discovering, preserving and celebrating the history of a unique grape variety that survived thanks to the Llopis Legacy and the work of the Sant Joan Baptista Hospital Foundation of Sitges.
Today, Sitges Malvasia is experiencing one of the most promising moments in its history. From the single vineyard plot that ensured its survival, it has grown to more than one hundred hectares of planted vineyards, with its grapes now used by more than thirty-five wineries across Catalonia.
This year’s theme, “Winning Hearts Across the Country”, reflects this expansion, which begins in Sitges, its historic birthplace, and extends throughout Catalonia without losing sight of its origins.
A grape variety and a distinctive style of wine that continue to tell the story of Sitges, while also embodying cooperation, shared heritage and a future built by many hands.
From November 12 to 22, Sitges celebrates the history, present and future of its Malvasia.
