The Christmas Lights Switch-On will mark the start of the festive season on 28 November

On Saturday 28 November, Port de Sitges will officially welcome the festive season with its traditional Christmas Lights Switch-On, an annual celebration that brings together families and visitors to share the excitement of this special time of year.

The magic will begin at 6 pm. Live music performed by students from Gemma Casanovas' music school in Sitges will provide the soundtrack to an afternoon full of festive cheer. Meanwhile, little elves will surprise families by handing out Advent calendars and inviting young and old alike to start the countdown to Christmas together, alongside other surprises.

Poblet de Nadal returns with three weekends of festive activities

On 5 and 6, 12 and 13, and 19 and 20 December, the Port will host a new edition of Poblet de Nadal, which celebrates its eleventh year this season and its second at Port de Sitges.

Over three weekends, the Port will be transformed into a vibrant space for strolling, shopping and enjoying family activities, with stalls offering handicrafts, fashion, local products and gift ideas, all set against a festive atmosphere for visitors of all ages.

Led by content creator and market specialist Vinyet Zapater, Poblet de Nadal has established itself as an event that combines the charm of traditional Christmas markets with the privileged setting of Port de Sitges, offering an outdoor leisure and shopping experience throughout December.

As well as boosting local commercial activity, the initiative aims to highlight the Port as an open and welcoming space where families can enjoy the festive season and discover the restaurants and food offerings of its establishments. Meanwhile, younger visitors can enjoy fun activities such as go-karts and an exciting immersive experience to meet Santa Claus.

Poblet de Nadal will take place on Saturdays 5, 12 and 19 December, from 10 am to 9 pm, and on Sundays 6, 13 and 20 December, from 10 am to 8.30 pm.

The Three Kings will arrive at the Port on 5 January

The Christmas programme will reach its grand finale on Tuesday 5 January 2027, when Their Majesties the Three Kings of the East arrive in Sitges by sea, one of the most eagerly awaited and exciting moments for children.

Once again, the Port will provide the setting for this special occasion, bringing children and families together to welcome Melchior, Gaspar and Balthazar in a day filled with excitement and festive magic.

Their Majesties are expected to arrive at Port de Sitges at 12.30 pm.
