
A small exhibition offering an open window into new narratives through works by artists such as Ismael Smith, Jean Cocteau, Paco y Manolo, Juan Carrero, Costus, Ocaña, and Maria Andreu, among others. The exhibition highlights the importance of these works and their value to Sitges’ heritage, as well as their ability to expand narratives. It can be visited during museum opening hours until September 20.

The second day of Sitges Pride 2026 highlights culture and knowledge in an LGTBI+ context through two activities. The first is “Toast to language, with pride” in Sitges, organized by Plataforma per la Llengua, a festive gathering combining the defense of Catalan and LGTBIQ+ rights. The celebration, with the collaboration of Vermuteria La Gralla, reaffirms Catalan as a tool for freedom and cohesion within Pride.
This is followed by the talk “Let’s speak clearly: Do you know PrEP?” on sexual health and HIV prevention, featuring Palestra Salut and Hospital de Bellvitge.

Community and visibility are the main themes of the third day of Sitges Pride 2026. The afternoon begins with “No More Closets,” a talk on unwanted loneliness among elderly LGTBIQ+ people led by Colors Sitges Link. This is followed by a meeting between youth and the community to share experiences. The day also includes the presentation of the Endimaris Film Festival and a round table with Colors Sitges Link and Grupo Memoria on women and homosexuality in Indian societies.

Activation of the piece through a performance by Norma Mor, a transvestite artist and activist for sexual and gender dissidence, and performer focused on drag, transformation, and visual arts practices.

A performance directed by Yunior Acosta exploring passion, desire, dissidence, and identity through works by key LGTBIQ+ and feminist authors. The piece combines text and stage action with eight performers (Dante Martín, Prado Velázquez, Víctor Marín, Olga Mansilla, Peter Lohnes, Silvia Capurro, Yunior Acosta, Joan Tort, and Juan Carlos Uriszar) who give voice and body to a selection of transgressive texts.

Families are the leitmotif of the fourth day of Sitges Pride 2026. Throughout the day there will be inclusive workshops for children, talks on trans realities among young people, queer storytelling, and a performance workshop on gender expression. Famílies Orgulloses, Pelos, and Colors Sitges Link are the organizations collaborating in the “family day”.

The final day of Sitges Pride 2026 focuses on activism through four activities closing the program. The first is “Poetic Witches’ Gathering,” a poetry and cabaret performance organized by Pelos and Colors Sitges Link. This is followed by a community vermouth hosted by Colors Sitges Link. A final round table reflects on the importance of the collective and its support for the LGTBIQ+ community. The closing ceremony includes the reading of manifestos and interventions by organizations.

A contemporary art workshop exploring queer memory during the late Franco period and Spain’s democratic transition. The proposal highlights the legacy of the queer community during this period, whose struggle made it possible for today’s community to live with freedom in sexual and gender diversity.
“Dissident Memories” recovers silenced stories and lived experiences of a generation of queer individuals who found in Sitges a territory of resistance and community building. The workshop creates intergenerational spaces to share perspectives on the past, present, and future of the queer community in Sitges.
The workshop is led by multidisciplinary artist Albert Potrony and cultural manager Roser Sanjuan. Maximum capacity: 20 participants. Open call for the LGTBI+ community.
