Dance demonstrations and local talent

The Justine Garner Dance School (11:00–11:30), Institute of the Arts Barcelona (11:30–12:00), Collective Dansa Studio (12:00–12:30), Associació Artística El Gato Azul (12:30–13:00), Grup Country Sitges (13:00–13:30) and Esplai de Dansa Casino Prado (13:30–14:00) present a dance and local talent showcase to open the Dansa Sitges 2026 programme.

Monday 27 April

Dance among books I: Castanets among books

Students from El Prado de Sitges BALLA!, under the direction of Maite Ferré, present a castanet performance among books. This is the first of three events in this year’s ‘Dance among books’.

Open classical dance barre

Dance teacher Sara Colomino leads an open classical dance session for the public. The activity includes warm-up exercises, technique and posture to encourage dance and community participation.

Dance among books II: Adult ballet group

Performance by the adult ballet group of Esplai de Dansa Casino Prado under the direction of the centre’s director, Sílvia Paretas.

Dance showcase organised by the Nachalé Bollywood Group.

Contemporary dance performance by Collective Dansa Studio.

Children’s ballet group performance

Musical performance by Esplai de Dansa Casino Prado featuring the centre’s children’s ballet group. The show is directed by Sílvia Paretas.
