CLUE GAME AT THE MARICEL MUSEUM

Going with the family to visit the Sitges Museums this Saturday afternoon will be quite fun! We have prepared a lot of clue games at the Maricel Museum.

A game that is aimed at boys and girls from six years old. Come and look, search and play! If you play the Clue Game there will be a guaranteed gift! When you finish the game, visit the La Puntual shop at the Sitges Museums.

The activity will be free for participating children and girls, while for accompanying adults the price will be €5 per person. Activity included in the Edunauta Passport.

A NIGHT WALK THROUGH THE MARICEL MUSEUM AND THE MARICEL PALACE WITH THE SITGES CANTA CHOIR!

Free admission.
This year, the Night of Museums has its focal point at the Maricel Museum and the Maricel Palace, with musical accompaniment by the Sitges Canta! choir in the Sala Gòtica of the Maricel Museum and a walk through the two emblematic spaces of Sitges.

Immerse yourself in the artistic universe of Santiago Rusiñol at the Cau Ferrat Museum and in the rich heritage of the Maricel Museum, two emblematic spaces of Sitges, where modernism and noucentisme dialogue through unique collections, singular architecture and exceptional views of the sea.

MANUEL PUIG COLLECTION”

Sala Vaixells of the Palau de Maricel
The exhibition of the collection of drawings by Dr. Manuel Puig, open until 19 October, highlights drawing as an unusual hobby but of high creative and historical value. It brings together a great diversity of works on paper, of different techniques, authors and periods, and underlines the validity and strength of this artistic discipline. The exhibition also highlights the role of women artists and offers a unique opportunity to enjoy the richness of drawing in the European artistic tradition.

OPEN DOORS OF THE EXHIBITION NARRATIVE FIGURATION – EMPREMTA 2025 – 1950-2025. 75 YEARS OF THE CREATION OF THE STÄMPFLI FOUNDATION - CONTEMPORARY ART
From 10am to 2pm

Room 1 – Narrative Figuration
Commemorates the 15th anniversary of the first public presentation of the Prefiguration of the Stämpfli Foundation Collections, which took place in April 2010 at the Miramar Cultural Center. It brings together works by 12 artists representing narrative figuration, one of the central axes of the collection: Antonio Seguí, Bernard Rancillac, Eduardo Arroyo, Erró, Gérard Fromanger, Gianni Bertini, Henri Cueco, Jacques Monory, Jan
Voss, Marco Del Re, Peter Klasen and Peter Stämpfli.

Room 2 – Empremta 2025
A single work by Peter Stämpfli occupies the entire floor of this room: Empremta 2025, an immersive installation of great visual force.

Room 3 – 1950-2025. 75 years of creation
Shows a selection of unpublished early works by Peter Stämpfli, made between 1950 and 1953. These are gouaches inspired by works by impressionist masters, which are being exhibited to the public for the first time.

5th EDITION OF THE ALTERNATIVE PATHS FESTIVAL OF THE INSTITUTE OF THE ARTS BARCELONA (IAB)

Stämpfli Foundation – Contemporary Art
ALTERNATIVE PATHS 2025 is a live arts and performance festival that reaches its 5th edition coinciding with International Museum Day, organized by the IAB Interpretation Department and the Master in Performing Arts Practices,
with the support of the Sitges Heritage Consortium.
The project offers a platform to emerging international artists with proposals created in dialogue with the museum’s space and collection. Creators from countries such as Portugal, Greece, the United Kingdom, Iceland, Italy, Armenia, the United States, Cyprus and Poland will participate, with live actions, happenings and movement pieces.
Artists from will present original works created in direct dialogue with the museum’s environment and collection. Among them, Artilia Panagiotidou, Cornelia Jurczynska, Helena Moutinho, Lara Rocha, Elizabeth Hanley, Maddie Anne McKinnon-Wardell, Maria Luís Morgado Da Mota, Theodora Chionaki, Archie Turnbull, Catarina Lopes, Fríða Katrín Bessadóttir, Nare Hakobyan and Armando Rotondi, with proposals that explore a wide range of performative languages.
