SKY BAR, the shortest way to heaven
The road to heaven is shorter from the Sky Bar of the Hotel MiM Sitges. To caress the immensity with the tips of your fingers, to embrace the ocean with your eyes and to be seduced by the most suggestive flavors is an experience within reach of those who ascend to the roof of the hotel.
With more than 400 m2 of surface and 360º views over Sitges, the surrounding hills and the Mediterranean Sea, the Sky Bar is a magical place to have a cocktail while enjoying the rhythm of the resident DJ's music and the beauty of the surroundings.
In addition, this exceptional space offers the possibility of tasting authentic mouthfuls of Mediterranean cuisine with international touches in which the product of proximity is the protagonist. Thanks to the proximity of the fish market of Vilanova or Garraf orchards, the raw material demands to unfold its flavors without great cooking. Thus, the recipes introduce only minimal interventions with some touches that enhance the taste of the product without camouflaging it.
It is the best place to contemplate the sunset in Sitges. It has a refreshing outdoor pool and sun loungers to relax and enjoy the fortunate climate of this beautiful town.
The simplicity and the taste for the local product of high quality is latent in all the dishes and dishes cooked under the supervision of Enrique López, chef of the Hotel MiM Sitges. After training in the kitchen of a traditional Catalan farmhouse, he worked together with Fermí Puig in the famous Drolma of Majestic Hotel & Spa Barcelona, which was once the first hotel restaurant in the city to obtain a Michelin star, allowing him to combine its cooking all the traditional flavor together with the own innovation of a gastronomic space and of experimentation. After passing through Majestic, he was appointed second chef at El Nacional, where he learned to work with small doses, controlling costs and placing special emphasis on zero waste. In addition, he was part of the kitchen team of Petit Comité, working with chef Nandu Jubany. As it could not be otherwise, its different facets are combined and balanced in the kitchen of the Hotel MiM Sitges.
The menu of all the gastronomic spaces of the hotel (Restaurant Land, Sky Bar, Bar Fly and RoomService) has been prepared from scratch with the collaboration of Jordi Ureña, chef advisor of the Hotel MiM Sitges, who brings his experience to the head of the kitchen from elPassatge del Murmuri. In addition, the drinks menu includes wines from the D.O. Penedés and local beers such as BrutusBeer or La Sitgetana, emphasizing, once again, the importance of kilometer 0 products.
