Fecha: 25/11/2025Sitges commemorates the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women with the campaign “When a woman is killed, many lives tremble”, an initiative that highlights how each femicide deeply affects the victim’s personal circle. Gender-based violence impacts not only the murdered woman, but also families, friends and social environments, who often need emotional support and may carry long-lasting consequences.
The town also highlights digital gender-based violence, the theme of this year’s Institutional Manifesto of Catalonia, especially relevant among younger women.
