What to do in Sitges with a dog

More and more of us want to enjoy our free time with our dogs, after all, they are one of the family, right? Here we leave you some proposals to have fun together in Sitges.

- A day at the beach with your dog in Sitges. It is certainly the best way to spend the hot summer days. Enjoying a day at the beach with your dog is a wonderful experience for both of you. Vallcarca beach, on the Carretera de las Costas, admits dogs all year round. With a length of 60 meters and clear, clean waters, it is the ideal place to play with your dog in both summer and winter.

- A walk through the Garraf Natural Park. Considered by many one of the best places to walk and hike in the middle of nature with your dog. You will find different routes, well signposted, with unique landscapes and wonderful views.

Another interesting excursion is the ascent to the Serra dels Pins, between Sitges and Castelldefels, near the dog-friendly beach of Vallcarca. This route is recommended for obedient dogs that know how to stay by your side throughout the journey, as there are areas that could be dangerous.

- Dog park. For those quieter days, when you don't feel like long walks or exhausting excursions, we recommend a visit to an area for dogs, where your faithful friend can run, play and socialize with other furry ones. In Sitges there are two pipican, one in the Can Robert park and another in the Can Rocà area, near the local police offices.

- At lunchtime. The vast majority of restaurants in Sitges that have a terrace are dog-friendly, so you will have no problem going to lunch or dinner with your dog, even in many establishments they offer you a bowl of water.

To finish, just one more thing, remember that you should always carry water for your partner and keep the areas you visit clean of excrement and urine.
