Dansa Sitges 2025

Several activities have been scheduled in Sitges to celebrate International Dance Day, on April 29th.

April 25:

At 5 p.m. “Dance among books”, at the Santiago Rusiñol Library. With a taste of contemporary dance by Collective Dansa Studio.

At 6 p.m., the traditional Open Bar of classical dance will return to Carrer de Port de n’Alegre (Sant Sebastià beach). This year the session will be directed by dance teacher Elena Cester.

April 26:

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Demonstrations from different centers in Sitges that will be held this year in front of the Ermita de Sant Sebastià. The following will perform: Justine Garner Dance School, IAB, Collective Dansa Studio, El Gato Azul Artistic Association, Casino Prado Dance Space and Contratiempo.

April 28:

From 3:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. in the library courtyard. Castanets tasting by El Prado de Sitges BALLA!, under the direction of Maite Ferré.

April 29:

From 3:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m., at the Santiago Rusiñol library, Dansa Entre llibres, by the Esplai de Dansa Casino Prado, under the direction of Sílvia Paretas. From this center, the adult ballet group will perform from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., there will also be a Bollywood exhibition, from 5:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and a ballet exhibition by the children's group, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The dance gala will conclude the program on the same day at 6:00 p.m. in the Jardins del Casino Prado with a performance also by the Esplai de Dansa Casino Prado.
