Sitgesian painter Anna Monzó brings together some seventy works created in the last three years in a sample installed at the Centro Cultural Miramar until July 21.

Anna Monzó i Almirall was born in Sitges in 1963. Her training in the world of art began at the Faculty of Fine Arts where she spent two years, leaving to go to the Massana School. Between these two stages a season of artistic training passes in an academy in Firenze, Italy. Your professional career
Sitges begins with two exhibitions, in which he shows a work with a clear influence of the Impressionist and Fauvist movement. Once finished the studies of the School Massana participates in the event of Art Workers in Switzerland, Belvedra, Malix. From this moment on, his work ceases to be purely figurative to incorporate the concept as the most relevant part. The fact of exhibiting in New York marks another step forward in his career. During a season he establishes a workshop in Palma de Mallorca, marking a new input in his work, where he incorporates new records. Later, he is part of the Code Arte group and participates in different projects.
